A new report shows that Republicans’ Working Families Tax Cuts are protecting millions of manufacturing jobs across the country and preserving billions in wages for working families.
“Every Senate Democrat voted against pro-worker tax cuts that are protecting American manufacturing jobs and keeping billions of dollars in workers’ paychecks. While Democrats campaign to upend Americans’ savings and raise their taxes, Senate Republicans continue to pass policy that prioritizes workers and creates greater economic opportunity for families,” said NRSC National Press Secretary Bernadette Breslin.
Across the Senate map, Republicans’ Working Families Tax Cuts are delivering:
- North Carolina: 184,000 jobs protected; $17 billion wages saved
- Ohio: 208,000 jobs protected; $19 billion wages saved
- Iowa: 57,000 jobs protected; $5 billion wages saved
- Alaska: 11,000 jobs protected; $1 billion wages saved
- Georgia: 198,000 jobs protected; $18 billion wages saved
- Michigan: 170,000 jobs protected; $15 billion waged saved
- New Hampshire: 27,000 jobs protected; $3 billion wages saved
- Nebraska: 37,000 jobs protected; $3 billion wages saved
- Montana: 20,000 jobs protected; $2 billion wages saved
- Florida: 399,000 jobs protected; $36 billion wages saved
- Texas: 547,000 jobs protected; $51 billion wages saved
