WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) launched a new digital ad series today targeting Democrats for supporting taxes on seniors’ Social Security.
“Instead of protecting seniors’ hard-earned savings, Senate Democrats want to tax the Social Security benefits that grandparents have paid into their entire lives,” said NRSC National Press Secretary Bernadette Breslin.
Democrats continue to campaign on raising taxes, including taxing workers’ tips and overtime pay on top of seniors’ Social Security. A Democrat Senate Majority would mean higher taxes for working families, service workers, and seniors already struggling with the cost of living after years of Biden-era inflation.
The NRSC’s new ads will run across Senate battlegrounds in Alaska, North Carolina, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, Georgia, and New Hampshire.

“Seniors” Transcript
VO: “Alaska seniors are struggling, and Mary Peltola would make it worse.
“Instead of standing up for seniors, Mary Peltola is choosing petty politics over good policy,
“Opposing efforts to save seniors money and working to eliminate historic tax savings like no tax on Social Security.
“That means less money for groceries, healthcare, and everyday items.
“Seniors can’t afford Mary Peltola’s tax-and-spend agenda.”
