WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) launched a new digital ad slamming Abdul El-Sayed for wanting to tax seniors’ Social Security.

“Instead of protecting seniors’ hard-earned savings, Abdul El-Sayed wants to hike taxes on the Social Security benefits they have paid into and planned for their entire lives,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.

“Seniors” Transcript:

Voice Over: “Michigan seniors are struggling, and Abdul El-Sayed would make it worse.

“Instead of standing up for seniors, Abdul El-Sayed is choosing petty politics over good policy.

“Opposing efforts to save seniors money and working to eliminate historic tax savings like no tax on Social Security.

“That means less money for groceries, healthcare, and everyday items.

“Seniors can’t afford Abdul El-Sayed’s tax-and-spend agenda.”
