WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new digital ad and microsite exposing Josh Turek’s history of abandoning Iowa farmers.
Josh Turek skipped nearly 75% of agriculture votes in the legislature, including the Iowa Farm Bill. When he did show up to work, he voted to expose farmers to frivolous lawsuits, supported California’s radical Prop 12 initiative, and pledged to impose crushing taxes on family farms.
“Josh Turek skipped the vote on the critical Farm Bill and wants to impose crushing taxes and burdensome regulations on family farms. He completely abandoned Iowa’s farmers already, and we will not let him do it again,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
