The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles will now ensure driver’s licenses and identification cards match the sex listed on an individual’s birth certificates. Newly enacted state law now recognizes there are only two sexes, male and female. Equality Ohio—which is backing Brown—came out against the move.

- Wants to force Ohio’s Catholic hospitals to perform genital mutilation surgeries, against their beliefs.
“For 32 years in Washington, Sherrod Brown pushed the left’s extreme transgender agenda instead of delivering for hardworking Ohioans. Brown’s refusal to affirm basic biology puts him radically out of step with Ohio,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
