Roy Cooper oversaw a 30% increase in energy costs as Governor, the highest rise anywhere in the southeast according to a new report from the Washington Reporter.

North Carolinians paid the highest healthcare costs in the nation, 85% more for a home, and at least $125 more a month for groceries under Cooper.

Meanwhile, illegal aliens got government benefits and Cooper turned into a multimillionaire, thanks to stock investments in companies that donate to his campaigns.

Cooper’s policies are responsible for North Carolinians seeing the largest increase in energy costs in the southeast. Cooper:

  • Killed the Atlantic Coast Pipeline, blocking lower energy prices for North Carolinians.
  • Appointed individuals on the North Carolina utilities commission who greenlit Duke Energy rate hikes through 2026.
  • Pushed for Green New Deal policies like a 70% reduction in carbon emissions by 2020, increasing energy costs for consumers.
  • Cheered on his friend Kamala Harris’ reckless spending that pushed inflation to record-highs.

While stuff cost more for North Carolinians, Cooper’s family profited from his Green New Deal policies.

“Roy Cooper made stuff cost more and now he wants to continue raising taxes on North Carolinians to give free healthcare to illegal aliens,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
