As Troy Jackson is set to launch his “Women for Troy” coalition, let’s not forget his abysmal and violent history with women:

  1. In a newly discovered police report, Troy Jackson’s partner revealed that he “pushed her around” after he broke down a door and punched a man.
  2. Jackson hurled a water bottle at Senator Heather Sanborn during a private State House meeting.
  3. Jackson got into a shouting match with Rep. Charlotte Warren and other law makers after they tried to persuade him on legislation.
  4. Jackson got in Maine House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross’s face and she kicked him out of her office.

CNN even reported that Jackson was “known for pounding on desks, storming out of rooms, getting into shouting matches with members of his own party and swearing at colleagues… Critics say his brash conduct, particularly with female colleagues, raises alarm bells about his temperament.”

“Troy Jackson’s deeply disturbing history of violence against women should disqualify him from the United States Senate, but sadly today’s Democrat Party will excuse it,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell
