Amadu Maddy is a criminal illegal alien from Sierra Leone convicted of drug trafficking and obstructing police. 

Thanks to Roy Cooper turning North Carolina into a sanctuary state, Maddy was never turned over to ICE despite being charged with several crimes.  

Reminder: Roy Cooper vetoed three pieces of legislation requiring local sheriffs to cooperate with federal immigration authorities. 

  • Trafficking methamphetamine by manufacturing, transporting, and attempted trafficking in methamphetamine by possession.
  • Trafficking marijuana. 
  • Misdemeanor keeping or maintaining a vehicle, dwelling, or place for controlled substances. 
  • Possession of weapon by a prisoner.
