Daniel Konso is a criminal illegal alien from Thailand arrested in Charlotte for sexual assault, probation violation, and a weapons offense.
But Roy Cooper turned North Carolina into a sanctuary state, allowing dangerous illegal aliens like Konso to roam free and put North Carolinians in danger despite his long rap sheet.
Cooper vetoed three pieces of legislation that would have required local sheriffs to cooperate with federal immigration authorities and get dangerous criminals like Konso off the streets.

- Failure to register as a sex offender.
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver methamphetamine.
- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
- Possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.
- Felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
- Possession of firearm by felon.
- Driving while license revoked.
- Felony larceny and conspiracy.
“Thanks to Roy Cooper’s far-left agenda, criminal illegal aliens like Konso are allowed to wreak havoc in North Carolina. Cooper is in lockstep with the socialists taking over his party, and he can’t be trusted to put North Carolinians first,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
