Josh Turek’s Democrat backers just blocked Republican-led legislation to protect Iowans from higher energy costs due to data centers. This is the second time Senate Democrats have blocked the Ratepayer Protection Act, which already passed the House of Representatives with Ashley Hinson’s vote.
Turek’s the Democrat establishment’s handpicked candidate who would be another vote for Democrat obstruction in the Senate.
“Josh Turek is Chuck Schumer’s puppet and he will vote in lockstep with his Party to block commonsense legislation like this to lower costs for families,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Samantha Cantrell.
Senate Republicans and Ashley Hinson’s Ratepayer Protection Act ensures that:
