Fact check: FALSE. Andrews wants to let kids undergo dangerous genital mutilation surgeries.
- Slammed legislation that prohibits healthcare providers from providing gender transition procedures — including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and gender reassignment surgeries — to minors and prohibits the use of public funds to pay for such procedures.
- Was literally let go at the hospital she worked at because she wants to trans children.
- Andrews called South Carolinians who don’t “support trans kids” “asshole[s].”
- Andrews supports a radical LGBTQ group that provides chest binders, “kid friendly” sex items, and prosthetic genitals to minors.
“Annie Andrews’ blatant lies show just how desperate she is and how little she thinks of South Carolinians. But nothing Andrews says or does will change her far-left record,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
