Welcome to Roy Cooper’s Worst of the Worst Wednesday.
Alexander Mora Santiago is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico arrested in Raleigh, North Carolina for possession of cocaine, selling cocaine, and possession of dangerous drugs.
But Roy Cooper turned North Carolina into a sanctuary state, allowing dangerous illegal aliens like Santiago to roam free and put North Carolinians in danger despite his long rap sheet.
Cooper vetoed three pieces of legislation that would have required local sheriffs to cooperate with federal immigration authorities and get dangerous criminals like Santiago off the streets.

- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a schedule II controlled substance.
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, again.
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, once again.
- Possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver cocaine.
- Sell cocaine.
- Deliver cocaine.
- Felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
- Possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for controlled substances.
- Possession of drug paraphernalia, again.
- Injury to personal property.
- No operator’s license.
“Roy Cooper fought tooth and nail to protect criminal illegal aliens like Santiago from deportation. Thanks to Cooper’s far-left agenda and dangerous sanctuary city policies, North Carolina is less safe,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.
