Democrat Dan’s senior staff have abandoned him en masse according to new reporting from Punchbowl News. Osborn’s campaign manager, communications director, data director, one of his longest-serving staffers Will Ramsey, Daniel Moraff, and Morris Katz—who “created the Osborn brand”—have all quit. Read the full story here or below.

The news comes as leaked audio recordings of Osborn have exposed him for being a con man and a radical leftist.

  • Caught calling rural Nebraskans stupid.
  • Caught using sexually explicit and racist language (Osborn desperately called the audio AI).
  • During a secret meeting with Democrats, Osborn called President Trump’s border wall a “symbol of racism” and a “joke” that “does nothing.” Remember, Osborn flooded Nebraska airwaves claiming to support the wall in 2024.
  • Osborn admitted he will lie about his true positions to get elected, saying, “There’s the campaigning side to get elected, and then there’s once you get into office, what are you going to do?”
  • Osborn admitted he’s hiding his radical agenda, specifically his support for men in women’s sports and abolishing ICE, to try and fool Nebraskans.

“Even Democrat Dan’s most loyal aides are quitting because they know Osborn is floundering and that Nebraskans are going to reject Osborn again,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.

Osborn’s team also parted ways with two prominent progressive consultants — Daniel Moraff and Morris Katz – who were involved in his 2024 campaign. Moraff and Katz also played key roles in Platner’s ill-fated Senate run.

A string of senior staffers has left Nebraska Senate candidate Dan Osborn’s campaign in recent months, an unusual rate of turnover as he heads into his general election challenge against Sen. Pete Ricketts (R-Neb.).
…
[Osborn’s] comeback bid was hit by a series of damaging leaks and a well-funded opponent who is less likely to be taken by surprise.

In May, then-campaign manager James Dolan left to manage the campaign of Rachel Wallace, the longshot challenger to Rep. Dan Meuser (R-Pa.) in Pennsylvania’s 9th District.

In July, Osborn’s then-communications director Colleen Craig left the campaign after a recording surfaced in which she claimed that Osborn recruited Graham Platner to run in Maine. Osborn’s team denied Craig’s claims, saying she was no longer employed with the team.

Nick Swain, who previously led the campaign’s weekly data calls, left to take a full-time job managing a different congressional campaign.

Will Ramsey, a longtime staffer who also worked on Osborn’s 2024 race, recently left the team to pursue other opportunities after finishing his college degree. An investigation by the Flatwater Free Press found that Ramsey attempted to infiltrate and disband a third party in Nebraska to pave the way for Osborn’s candidacy.
