WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) released a new ad today exposing Mary Peltola’s desperate scheme to defraud voters and take away their real choice: Incumbent Senator Dan Sullivan. A bombshell New York Times investigation revealed Peltola, her campaign, and the DSCC conspired to recruit Decoy Dan to confuse Alaskans and rig Alaska’s Senate race—a federal crime.
“Mary Peltola’s absolute disdain for Alaskans and her potentially criminal scheme is sickening. But Peltola’s desperate lies won’t work because Alaskans are smarter than Peltola thinks and will not rank her,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia.

Peltola’s and the Democrat establishment’s desperate scheme to rig Alaska’s Senate race is an illegal conspiracy against rights that violates 18 USC 241.
- Conspiracy between two or more parties to deceive voters into wasting their votes is a federal crime known as “conspiracy against rights”.
- The First Amendment does not protect efforts to deceive voters into casting ballots for the wrong candidate.
- Mary Peltola’s campaign, Democrat operatives, and the DSCC colluded together to place Decoy Dan on the ballot with the sole intent of deceiving voters.

- Decoy Dan attempted to file as Daniel S. Sullivan which is Senator Sullivan’s name, not his.
- Decoy Dan’s website, logo, and branding are nearly identical to Dan S. Sullivan’s to further confuse voters.
- Has never been affiliated with the Republican Party, but tried filing as a Republican the day he started his campaign.
- According to Peltola’s former campaign manager, Decoy Dan had no interest in being a candidate but agreed to do it if it would help Mary because he hates Trump.
- Claimed he filed as a Republican because his dad was a “life-long Republican,” but he lied. Decoy Dan’s dad was never a registered Republican and voted in Democrat primaries in 2024 and 2006.
- Decoy Dan said he never planned on filing with the FEC and was forced to do so, admitting that he has zero intention of being a real candidate and every intention of just being a name on the ballot to rig Alaska’s U.S. Senate race.
Chuck Schumer and the Dem establishment are heavily involved with Decoy Dan’s fraudulent campaign.
- The DSCC identified a consultant who specialized in “secret ballot maneuvers” and introduced him to the Peltola campaign. The DSCC and Peltola campaign “swapped leads” on potential recruits and called it their “ballot composition project.”
- Peltola advisors made fun of Alaska voters and laughed about how they thought they were easy to trick. The DSCC and Marc Elias’s law firm even tried to create a fake MAGA Party to “create basically a Republican war in the primary.”
- The Dems not only recruited spoiler candidates, but coordinated with Super PACs to boost the fake candidates with outside spending.
- Decoy Dan’s campaign representative, Alan Harris, is featured in an ad by Chuck Schumer’s Majority Forward, attacking Senator Dan Sullivan.
- Harris hand-delivered Fraud Dan’s declaration of candidacy.
- Harris is also Amber Lee’s boyfriend, Decoy Dan’s Democrat strategist.
- Schumer has denied any involvement with Decoy Dan.
Decoy Dan is a radical left Democrat.
- Voted for the Democrat in the last three presidential elections and for Peltola in 2022 and 2024.
- Decoy Dan is a Peltola supporter and donor.
- A shadowy Lower 48 Super PAC funded by George Soros and Democrats is supporting Decoy Dan.
- Decoy Dan illegally colluded with the far-left 907 Initiative. Amber Lee worked with his campaign while sitting on the board of the group, and spending over $1 million against Senator Dan S. Sullivan.
