Republicans have released their plan to provide West Virginians with historic tax cuts that will create jobs, grow the economy, and save the typical family of four $1,182 a year.
But, instead of embracing a plan that will give more money to small businesses and middle-class families, Politico reports that radical liberal Chuck Schumer is “working hard to bring down the GOP tax plan before it even gets to his side of the Capitol.” This type of mindless obstruction is exactly what West Virginia families and businesses can’t afford, but Joe Manchin has already sided with Chuck Schumer and said NO to the tax relief West Virginians want and deserve.
“Folks in West Virginia can’t afford Joe Manchin’s obstructionist policies hurting their financial well-being,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “It’s clear that Joe Manchin can’t set aside his partisan politics to support bigger paychecks and more financial relief for West Virginians, and that will ensure he will find himself in the unemployment line in 2019.”
