WASHINGTON – NRSC Executive Director Chris Hansen made the following statement regarding the results of the Mississippi Democratic Senate primary runoff election:
“David Baria wants to go to Washington so he can further Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi’s Democrat agenda and vote against President Trump’s policies,” said NRSC Executive Director Chris Hansen. “Senator Roger Wicker has a tested track record of delivering results for Mississippi families, and that has earned him the trust of folks back home who know they can count on him to stand up for Mississippi values in the Senate. I have no doubt that come November Mississippians will reelect Sen. Wicker and allow him to continue working for them in Washington.”
