Bill Nelson’s failing campaign must be in a state of disarray this morning as Governor Rick Scott announced he raised over $10.7 million dollars in less than three months.
Notably, this eye-popping amount includes contributions from all of Florida’s 67 counties with 80 percent of that money coming directly from Floridians, sending a clear message that voters are ready for change in Washington.
Bill Nelson shouldn’t be too shocked though. Nearly half of Floridians have no clue about him and after almost 30 years in Congress he’s only been the primary sponsor of 10 bills that have become law.
“It’s impossible to argue with these numbers,” said NRSC Spokesperson Camille Gallo. “This historic fundraising haul sends a clear signal to Bill Nelson and national Democrats that Floridians are fed up with career politicians and will vote for change this November.”
