From before he was even nominated, Senate Democrats have vehemently opposed eminently qualified jurist Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court, and today, Senate Democrats confirmed their opposition, voting NO on allowing a floor vote on his nomination.
The antics and outbursts from the Senate Democrats have forever damaged the nomination process, and backfired as Republicans are fired up across the country.
Red state Democrats are now going to have to answer for their NO vote and their colleagues’ unhinged behavior. Warning though for red state Dems: their voters are going to be far less forgiving than their colleagues’ coastal constituents.
“Senate Democrats have embarrassed the country with their circus-like behavior and have surely cost their 2018 colleagues their seats this November,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “The Democrats’ outbursts, grandstanding and protests will be fresh on the minds of red state voters, who resolutely believe Judge Kavanaugh should be confirmed.”
