Democrats Reject Common-sense Policies to Help All Americans
Washington, D.C. – Contrary to what the New York Times chooses to report, Senate Republicans are working nonstop to support American families and workers. Meanwhile, Democrats remain focused on perpetual lockdowns of schools and businesses and rejecting common-sense policies to help all Americans.
- Democrats want open borders and closed schools. Joe Biden, Kamala Harris and Chuck Schumer are creating a new migrant crisis at the border. While they’ve opened schools for migrant children, Democrats still refuse to stand up to teachers’ unions across the country to open our schools!
- Democrats support job-killing energy policy. On his first day in office, Joe Biden killed nearly 11,000 good-paying jobs by cancelling the Keystone XL Pipeline. Instead of standing up for the workers laid off in the middle of a pandemic, Chuck Schumer and Bernie Sanders cheered Biden on and encouraged him to kill more jobs by banning fracking.
- Democrats endorsed tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires while hiking taxes on middle-class families and small businesses. In the span of just a few hours, Senate Democrats voted to cut taxes for their millionaire and billionaire campaign donors in New York and California. Only a few hours later, these same Senate Democrats unanimously voted to hike taxes on struggling middle-class families and small businesses.
