Tammy Baldwin’s true colors have been on full display lately, and her following radical Elizabeth’s Warren’s lead on Judge Gorsuch is just the latest example.

Last week, Tammy decided she would break a promise she made only days before by announcing she would block Judge Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court before meeting with him.

• January 31, 2017: Tammy Baldwin Statement – “The importance of the Supreme Court and the decisions they make have a profound effect on the daily lives of all Americans so I will do my job to fully review Judge Gorsuch’s record. I also look forward to meeting with him…”

• February 2, 2017: Tammy Baldwin announced she will block Judge Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court.

Her decision to side with Elizabeth Warren, is even at odds with her Democrat colleagues. Yesterday, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) called for an up-or-down vote for Judge Gorsuch: “Everybody I’ve talked to agrees he should get a hearing and an up-or-down vote.” Democrat Senators who have taken the time to meet with Judge Gorsuch understand why he is an impressive choice for the Supreme Court.

This is also another example of the growing divide among Senate Democrats, and demonstrates why Wisconsin families rejected Democrats this past November and will again in 2018.
