Americans Soundly Reject Senate Democrats’ Big Spending, Open Borders, Defund the Police Agenda

Washington, D.C. – Senate Democrats will never admit it, but their far-Left, radical agenda is growing increasingly unpopular with American voters. Across the board, voters are rejecting Senate Democrats’ most recent brand of socialism. What Democrats believe are their biggest hits are actually their biggest flops when put in front of American voters. Who would have guessed that defunding the police, opening the Southern Border and granting amnesty to more than 11 million illegal immigrants, or hiking taxes to pay for out-of-control government spending would be unpopular?

Axios recently reported:

American voters are not supportive of the Democrats’ far-Left radical agenda. As a recent NRSC/RGA National Battleground Survey also found, American voters favor a Republican-led agenda that keeps taxes low, secures the Southern Border, and helps Americans achieve their American dream.

A majority of voters, including Independents, prefer a Republican candidate who would be a check on the Democrats’ radical agenda.

American voters say the Democrats’ out-of-control spending is to blame for the rising cost of everyday goods.

More than half of American voters are less likely to vote for a Democrat because of their handling of the crisis at the Southern Border.

Statement from NRSC Spokeswoman Katharine Cooksey: “Republicans are the only party actually representing the will of the people. Democrats are abandoning popular opinion to instead push forward an agenda fully supported by socialists like AOC and Bernie Sanders, and that is just fine with us. Senate Republicans are happy to tell voters how Senate Democrats like Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock, and Michael Bennet led the charge to pass job-killing tax hikes, spur out-of-control inflation, and make their communities less safe.”
