The latest example? Cortez Masto’s full-throated support for Obamacare, which she has repeatedly defended and even called “a good law.”
That “good law” is about to slam policy holders to the tune of double digit premium spikes:
MCCLATCHY: “The Obama administration said Monday premiums for Obamacare will increase by an average of 25 percent next year.”
Cortez Masto has been unapologetic in her support for Obamacare, even as costs rise, access decreases, and plans continue to disappear to the point that several Nevada counties only have one option.
"‘It’s good law. We have more people that have insurance because of it. Is it perfect? No,’ she said. ‘So where there are problems with it, and how we can fix it, and move it and improve it for everyone, that’s where it starts for me. That’s the starting point.’” (Jeff Gillan, “Cortez Masto Talks Bipartisanship, Issues In Race For Reid’s Seat,” KSNV, 4/26/16)
If that’s Cortez Masto’s idea of a good law, Nevada families can’t afford to find out what will happen if she ends up in Washington.
