Reckless Tax and Spending Spree Has Hidden Tax Hikes on Low-Income and Middle-Class Americans
Washington, D.C. – Senate Democrats claim they oppose hiking taxes on middle-class and low-income workers, and they even joined Senate Republicans recently in voting to ban such a tax hike. But one look at their reckless tax and spending spree proves the Democrats’ opposition to job-killing tax hikes was just for show.
Joe Biden has also made a similar “No Tax Hike” pledge, but hidden within the Democrats’ beloved reckless tax and spending spree are countless tax hikes that would send more of every Americans’ hard-earned paychecks to Uncle Sam, immediately violating Democrats’ “No Tax Hike” pledge. As one economic expert with the National Taxpayers Union declared, “I think the Biden plan is absolutely going to raise taxes on people making less than $400,000 a year.”
