Washington, D.C. – The Democrat majority in both houses of Congress is paper-thin, but their party is being torn in two over a $3.5 trillion (really $5 trillion) socialist tax and spending spree that is neither popular with the American people, nor has the support of their full party.

Deep-pocketed liberal PACs and interest groups know that if a deal isn’t reached between the socialist-Left and the rest of their Democrat colleagues by the end of the month, it could mean disaster.  As one super PAC operative said: “I just think it’s a slow march to a clusterf—, and that’s a scary thing.”

As inflation continues to soar, job openings remain vacant, and American ports are severely backlogged, a clusterf— is indeed coming whether the Democrats get their act together or not…and working Americans will suffer.

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “The Democrats’ agenda is on thin ice. The U.S. economy is in bad shape, caused by liberal economic policy that has led to massive inflation, supply chain issues, and an employment crisis. Should the Democrats succeed and pass their socialist wish list, these problems will greatly worsen. Should they fail, their agenda will collapse, and the Democrats will descend into civil war, imperiling any bipartisan cooperation to improve our nation. In other words, ‘a clusterf—.’”
