Washington, D.C. – Today, NRSC Chairman Rick Scott announced the committee raised $9 million in the month of October. The NRSC’s strong fundraising month was fueled by record grassroots donations. In October, the NRSC achieved the highest number of gifts and new donors of any month this cycle, with the number of gifts exceeding 200,000 for the first time.
Chairman Scott also announced that the average donation was $39.66, the lowest average donation of any month this cycle. The NRSC has raised over $85 million this cycle, has $29 million cash on hand, and $0 debt.
“Joe Biden and Senate Democrats are leading this country in the wrong direction. There’s an unprecedented crisis raging at the Southern Border, inflation is out of control, and Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan.” said NRSC Chairman Rick Scott. “Americans are fed up with the direction of the country. They know that a Republican Senate majority will hold Joe Biden accountable and get the country back on track and that is why we are seeing record-setting support from our grassroots.”
