In other words, amid allegations that he violated federal law, Senator Feingold issued a very Hillary Clinton-esque response to a "very Hillary Clinton-esque" problem.

The amount of time it has taken the State Department to respond to the FOIA request will soon exceed the amount of time that Feingold actually worked there.

Either Feingold – a United States Senator for eighteen years and former Special Envoy, lacks the influence it takes to have the Obama administration’s State Department fulfill a routine FOIA request or he’s blatantly lying to the people of Wisconsin about wanting his records to be released expeditiously.

If Senator Feingold truly has nothing to hide, he will put his out-of-state money where his mouth is and call the State Department to have his records released before Election Day:
