Murphy claimed he was a small business owner and worked as a Certified Public Accountant, but multiple reports, including a bombshell investigation by CBS Miami, revealed that Murphy had dishonestly portrayed his professional experience for years – and every line on his resume prior to his political career was false.

The ad is part of a significant NRSC ad buy in Florida and begins airing today in the Tampa and Orlando media markets.

“Patrick Murphy lied about being a CPA, lied about being a small business owner, and continues to lie about his professional experience even after being exposed as a liar. Murphy is nothing more than an empty suit with a rich father who, with no accomplishments of his own, has resorted to making them up.” – NRSC spokesman Greg Blair
