Catherine Cortez Masto has been dodging questions about President Obama’s Iran deal since she promised to "take the coming days to review the agreement" on July 14th. It’s over six weeks later, and she still refuses to make up her mind.

WATCH a video from yesterday where Cortez Masto continued her trend of running away from the deal.

When asked point blank whether or not she supports the Iran deal, she stuck with her usual response. Silence.

Harry Reid doesn’t seem to care that his chosen successor has no opinion about how our government will deal with a nuclear Iran. Reno News & Review asked Reid if Cortez Masto was waiting on him to take a position.

The article says, "Reid offered little more than a shrug, saying it didn’t matter since she has no vote on the agreement."

But voters deserve a candidate who doesn’t run away from the tough questions.

“Catherine Cortez Masto refuses to say a word about the Iran deal. How can she expect voters to take her candidacy seriously when she is missing in action on one of the most pressing national security issues our country faces?” said NRSC spokesman Greg Blair.

It seems that a pressing issue for our country doesn’t necessarily translate to a pressing issue for Cortez Masto. The Hill noticed the candidate’s glaring lack of response.

“In Nevada, meanwhile, Catherine Cortez Masto — a candidate endorsed by outgoing Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) — put out an early statement on the deal, but then went silent. Asked about where she stood, Cortez Masto’s campaign referred back to her July statement, which was released the day the Iran deal was announced.”

Yes, that’s the same statement from six weeks ago. The Cortez Masto camp seems perfectly content with lingering in their state of indecision.

We think Nevada voters won’t be as pleased.
