In an interview with POLITICO, former Minority Leader Harry Reid outlined all the ways he’s “still pulling strings” in the Senate – just when we thought he was out.

The interview starts out bold, saying:

“The Senate is done with Harry Reid, but Harry Reid isn’t done with politics — not even a little bit.”

Reid then goes on to say that one way he’s been involved has been to “dialing and texting with Democratic senators who seek his advice on how to better fight back against Trump.”

Are any red-state Democrats in Reid’s favorited contacts? Four have already aligned themselves with the far left resistance, joining the company of Resistance Reid.

POLITICO went on to say Reid plans to take on “a significant behind-the-scenes advisory role for himself in guiding the future of his party.” The same person who lost his job as Majority Leader to become the Minority Leader in the Senate plans on leading his Party into the future – most likely to more of the same dismal results.

And Reid’s latest project? His newly-minted puppet, Representative Jacky Rosen. He hand-picked her to continue his obstruction in the Senate, and said in the interview:

“I’m a big fan of Jacky Rosen’s, I’m doing everything I can to help her.”

Nevadans thought they were finally rid of Reid and his dirty politics, but alas, he’s found someone to continue his shady, failed legacy.

Reid can’t continue his past mistakes all by himself, though. In addition to consulting House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, he said he’s enlisted the help of Barack Obama and Joe Biden, who are responsible for losing 63 House seats, 10 Senate seats, and 12 governorships across the country. He’s also been meeting with the biggest loser of them all, John Podesta, the former campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton.

Reid’s advice to the Democrat Party?

“He has encouraged the caucus to be bold and outspoken in their resistance to Trump in order to give voters something to support.”

With ten Democrats up in states that President Trump won in 2016, you can tell just how out of touch Reid is with the present. Additionally, blind “resistance” isn’t “giving voters something to support.”
