Some of the GOP’s most influential faces are showing their support for Cassidy’s candidacy: Guests include Sen. Rand Paul, Col. Rob Maness, Gov. Bobby Jindal, and Sen. David Vitter.
Cassidy is picking up momentum ahead of Election Day, December 6th. Republicans are coming together after last week’s jungle primary to defeat Mary Landrieu — after she voted with President Obama 97 percent of the time last year, only 42.1 percent of Louisianans voted for her last week. Republicans, on the other hand, combined for 55 percent of the vote. Now that the GOP is united behind Cassidy, Mary Landrieu’s reelection hopes are decreasing by the day.
