Quinnipiac University released its latest polling numbers, and it’s not looking good for Senate Democratic candidates. In fact, Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Poll, said:

"In general, this poll of the three major swing states, Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, is good news for the GOP."

Florida

The Quinnipiac poll showed Senator Marco Rubio has the advantage over Democratic establishment and notorious daddy’s boy, Privileged Patrick Murphy. He also has a lead over the other Democratic challenger, Alan Grayson.

With Rubio in the race and Privileged Patrick’s habit of lying, Republicans are "in good shape" to protect Florida.

Pennsylvania

Senator Pat Toomey currently has a confident 9-point lead over Shady Katie McGinty, which is unsurprising considering her campaign of lies was recently exposed. Morning Call reported on McGinty’s dismal reality:

Voters without college degrees also showed a shift: they divided evenly last month, with 44 percent supporting McGinty and 44 percent backing Toomey. Now, 52 percent of those voters pick Toomey and 35 percent pick McGinty.

Those results come after McGinty drew criticism earlier this month over her description of being the first in her family to go to college when her older brother graduated from community college and later a four-year university.

McGinty is paying for her decision to mislead voters. Her unfavorability ratings have risen from 16% last month to 28% in this most recent poll. As voters get to know the real Shady Katie McGinty, they overwhelmingly oppose her and her questionable tactics.

Ohio

As Retread Ted Strickland campaigns around the Buckeye State, more and more Ohioans are reminded of how bad his record is. In April 2015, Strickland enjoyed a 49-29 favorability rating. By last month, it had sunk down to 37-31. Now, Strickland is underwater with a 38-42 favorability rating.

It appears voters are not happy Ted Strickland has joined forces with Hillary Clinton’s war on coal – and consequently, Ohio jobs. Just look at how he’s spent his month:

June 2: Strickland loses the endorsement of the United Mine Workers of America

June 8: Strickland goes on a damage control tour across Eastern Ohio, fooling no one

June 21: Strickland campaigns with Hillary Clinton, who once went directly after Ohio jobs saying, "We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business”

Retread Ted Strickland is only making things worse for his favorability ratings. The polls show his ratings are plummeting, and the plummet is not slowing down.

Nevada

New Monmouth University poll released shows GOP Senate nominee Congressman Joe Heck leading Harry Reid’s hand picked successor, Catherine Cortez Masto. Heck is also leading among independent voters with 43% compared to Masto’s 30% support. Harry Reid pushed his own liberal agenda ever since entering the US Senate in 1987 and only 41% of likely Nevada’s voters approve of Harry Reid’s record. Monmouth University Polling Institute said of Reid:

"The candidates are vying to fill the seat of outgoing Senator Harry Reid, who is not universally well-liked by his constituents."

Congressmen Heck is running a campaign focused on the American people while Masto is attempting to continue Harry Reid’s unpopular liberal agenda.

Looking Forward

Republican Senate candidates are running good campaigns based on their strong records of representing their states in the Senate. Meanwhile, Democrats are busy lying and threatening voters’ jobs. This new polling shows we’re one step closer to protecting our Republican Majority. Help take us the extra step by pitching in today:
