The Senate GOP’s tax plan is expected to create 19,721 new jobs in Indiana and put $2,468 in the pockets of middle income families according to the nonpartisan Tax Foundation. Yet, Democratic Senator Mexico Joe Donnelly has refused to support the job-creating tax relief plan.
Mexico Joe’s refusal to support Republican efforts to create jobs, provide tax relief and grow the economy is leaving Hoosiers worse off. Is Mexico Joe willing to let his partisan loyalty get in the way of doing what’s best for his constituents?
“Hoosiers deserve to know why Mexico Joe is refusing to let them access thousands of new job opportunities and keep more of their hard-earned money,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “Instead of following Chuck Schumer’s obstructionist tactics, Donnelly needs to fight for the thousands of Hoosiers who would benefit from this plan.”
