The Senate GOP’s tax plan is expected to create 2,992 new jobs in Montana and put $2,511 in the pockets of middle income families according to the nonpartisan Tax Foundation. Yet, Democratic Senator Jon Tester has refused to support the job-creating tax relief plan.

Tester’s refusal to support Republican efforts to create jobs, provide tax relief and grow the economy is leaving Montanans worse off. Is Tester willing to let his partisan loyalty get in the way of doing what’s best for his constituents?

“Montanans deserve to know why Jon Tester is refusing to let them access thousands of new job opportunities and keep more of their hard-earned money,” said NRSC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Instead of following Chuck Schumer’s obstructionist tactics, Tester needs to fight for the thousands of Montanans who would benefit from this plan.”
