Politico Magazine is out with a nice puff piece about Mexico Joe Donnelly this morning. But, despite the article mentioning Mexico Joe’s rhetoric on outsourcing twice, they seem to have forgotten to mention the fact that he has hypocritically profited from the very practice he condemns. Since it slipped Politico’s mind, here’s a friendly reminder of the biggest story in the Indiana Senate Race!

In July, the AP reported that despite an entire career of rhetoric aimed at companies that send jobs overseas, his own family’s company has been shipping jobs to Mexico. Mexico Joe profited greatly from the practice, making up to $50,000 in dividends in 2016 alone. But while Mexico Joe was raking in the cash, he was busy putting on a show, condemning other outsourcers as “unpatriotic” and “un-American.”

“If Mexico Joe thinks sitting down for glowing profiles from the D.C. press is going to make Hoosiers forget about his outsourcing hypocrisy he is sorely mistaken,” said NRSC Spokesman Bob Salera. “From now until Election Day, Indiana voters will be constantly reminded that Mexico Joe raked in the profits as his family business shipped jobs south of the border.”
