Tennesseans got a shocking look at how ridiculously expensive and damaging Bernie Sanders and national Democrats’ government-run health care plan is, and boy is it brutal.
According to a new study from the Mercatus Center, “Medicare for All,” which Bredesen proudly supports, would cost a staggering $32.6 trillion, and in order to achieve the massive price tag, Tennesseans would face “historic tax hikes.”
So much for Bredesen’s moderate campaign rhetoric…
“Tennesseans got a glimpse of what Phil Bredesen’s radical ideas would cost and they don’t like what they see,” said NRSC Spokesman Michael McAdams. “Bredesen’s government-run health care plan would tax Tennessee families and businesses into oblivion, while leaving folks with a worse level of care. Tennessee voters want less not more government intrusion, and it’s clear Phil Bredesen doesn’t agree.”
