As reported by The Washington Post, that’s what Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said to a Muslim immigrant from Jordan who is running for Congress in Nevada.

What does Katie McGinty think about this racist rhetoric from one of her campaign’s biggest supporters?

In fact, Harry Reid has been more than a McGinty supporter. Reid threw his name behind the struggling McGinty campaign early in the primary process hoping to help her avoid a tough fight. In November 2015 Reid joined a conference call with McGinty and gave a “pep talk” to her supporters. His leadership PAC has also donated to her campaign and he’s lent his name to fundraising emails for her campaign.

Will Katie McGinty distance herself from her close ally and condemn Reid’s racist remarks?
