If Abdul El-Sayed is elected to the Senate, he will be guaranteed a security clearance and have access to our nation’s most sensitive information. This should alarm every single Michigander.
Ted Cruz is sounding the alarm:
When you get elected to the Senate there is no security clearance process. None. You are granted the highest level security clearance simply by virtue of being elected to the constitutional office of being a Senator. If Abdul El-Sayed becomes the Senator from Michigan, there is absolutely nothing to stop Chuck Schumer from placing Abdul El-Sayed on the Senate Intelligence Committee… and if I am correct that he is a passionate supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, there is a very real risk that Americans will die as a result.
The Wall Street Journal even added:
If elected, Mr. El-Sayed will have automatic access to classified information, particularly if he sits on a national-security committee. But if he were required to apply for a security clearance like many unelected government employees, he’d likely have a tough time receiving one.
Standard Form 86, the questionnaire candidates for national-security jobs fill out during the hiring process, asks applicants to list relatives, both living and dead, including parents, stepparents, siblings and half-siblings, parents-in-law and children. That would include the two relatives whose histories have sounded the most alarms over the course of Mr. El-Sayed’s campaign: his mother, Fatten Elkomy, and his father-in-law, Tayeb Jukaku.
Abdul has serious ties to designated terrorists organizations:
- He accepted $115,000 from associates of CAIR, a designated terrorist organization.
- He signed a letter in support of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and encouraged them to “purge the media and police”.
- His mother’s employer was caught wiring money to Osama bin Laden, the Taliban, and Hamas.
- His father-in-law is the former president of CAIR’s Michigan chapter and a top donor to El-Sayed’s super PAC.
- His father sits on the board of a charity with Muslim Brotherhood ties and got caught funneling cash to Saddam Hussein, and has been raided by the FBI and the U.S. military.
- His sister-in-law appeared on the terrorist watch list.
- His sister posted multiple times on X that their family “has long been” Muslim Brotherhood and that she had an “amazing” talk with her mom about her “activism in the Muslim Brotherhood.”
