You wouldn’t know it from her public statements, campaign events, and news interviews, which occur with roughly the same frequency as a solar eclipse.

Cortez Masto did manage to fumble her way through one interview, appearing on Ralston Live in September. With the Senate preparing to vote today to repeal Obamacare, Cortez Masto probably regrets her endorsement of the catastrophic healthcare law – but it’s tough to know for sure what someone thinks when they’re constantly avoiding the public eye.

Since endorsing Obamacare, Cortez Masto has – unsurprisingly – been noticeably silent on the law’s numerous failings. She’s said nothing about impending rate hikes. Nothing as insurers threaten to bail due to massive costs. Nothing as co-ops around the country continue to collapse.

It’s no wonder Harry Reid handpicked Cortez Masto to take his place in Washington – with her silent capitulation to the failed Obama agenda, it’ll be just like he never left.
