Kyrsten Sinema is hitting the panic button after footage surfaced late last week showing her calling Arizona the “meth lab of democracy” and mocking the voters of her state as “crazy” to out-of-state liberal groups.

Sensing the damage her comments are having on her failing campaign, Sinema cut a full 60-second ad loaded with beautiful Arizona scenery and one-liners about how much she loves the “smell of the desert sand” and how proud she is to be from “the best state in the nation.”

But the truth is, when she thought no one was looking, Sinema showed her true feelings about Arizona families and no amount of pretty ads or desperate backpaddling will be enough to cover up her hateful remarks on the tapes.

The Washington Free Beacon probably summed up her new ad best:

Kyrsten Sinema’s new Arizona ad: Elect me Senator, you crazy meth heads. #AZSEN

“Kyrsten Sinema’s desperation is just as ugly as her despicable comments about Arizonans,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: if Kyrsten Sinema thinks Arizona is the meth lab of democracy then she should drop out and run in California where she won’t need to hide her socialist ideas or secretly insult Arizonans to get elected.”
