Alaskans will have more money in their pockets this tax season thanks to President Trump and Dan Sullivan passing the largest middle-class tax cut in history. According to IRS data, the Working Families Tax Cuts are saving Americans $2,290 on average this tax season, nearly 11% more than last year. Meanwhile, January inflation cooled to 2.4% year-over-year, beating expectations again.
“President Trump and Dan Sullivan are delivering bigger tax refunds and lowering inflation after years of skyrocketing costs thanks to Democrats like Mary Peltola,” said NRSC Regional Press Secretary Nick Puglia. “While Peltola would have voted against these historic middle-class tax cuts, Sullivan is working to help Alaskans keep more of their hard-earned money.”
