As a loyal supporter of the Obama-Pelosi agenda, Kirkpatrick voted for the Obamacare debacle that slammed Arizona with higher rates and has voted with Nancy Pelosi 87 percent of the time this Congress (Source: CQ Vote Watch, Accessed 10/26/15).
Kirkpatrick’s repeated attempts to run from her record fall flat, and her vote for Pelosi only reinforces the fact that she is chronically unable to break away from her Washington bosses on behalf of Arizona.
FLASHBACK: Kirkpatrick Couldn’t Identify A Single Time She Split With Party Bosses: “David Huffman, 25, of Maricopa, said Kirkpatrick’s voting record shows she sticks with her party most of the time…’When you’re here in Arizona, you seem very moderate,’ he said. ‘When you go to D.C., you seem to be a little more liberal voting-wise. I want to know a few times you’ve gone against the grain, for the betterment of Arizona.’ Kirkpatrick didn’t answer with a specific example… ‘It was a very political answer," Huffman said afterward. "But that’s what I expected.’ (Rebekah Sanders, “Unusual Gosar, Kirkpatrick Partnership Continues,” Arizona Republic, 1/24/15)
Try as she might, Kirkpatrick just can’t run from her record as a partisan liberal Democrat who stands with Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi whenever they call on her.
