On the very day it was revealed that suspects of the Paris attacks used the refugee crisis to ‘slip into’ France, Ann Kirkpatrick opposed the House bill to pause the Syrian refugee program until new screening requirements are implemented.
Kirkpatrick’s vote follows yesterday’s Bloomberg Politics National Poll, in which it was revealed that most Americans oppose Syrian refugee resettlement:
Most Americans want the U.S. to stop letting in Syrian refugees amid fears of terrorist infiltrations after the Paris attacks…Fifty-three percent of U.S. adults in the survey, conducted in the days immediately following the attacks, say the nation should not continue a program to resettle up to 10,000 Syrian refugees. Just 28 percent would keep the program with the screening process as it now exists…
Yet, as she did with her support of the Iranian nuclear deal, Ann Kirkpatrick decided to blindly side with President Obama despite "broad support from Democrats."
It’s clear that for Ann Kirkpatrick, the most important voice to listen to is President Obama’s.
