Ann Kirkpatrick’s blind support for President Obama’s nuclear giveaway to Iran reached a new low today when she cast a vote in Congress to protect the Iranian regime and support terrorists instead of their victims.

The Justice For Victims Of Iranian Terrorism Act would have prohibited $100 billion in sanctions relief for Iran under the Obama nuclear deal unless the regime complied with an order to pay $43.5 billion in damages to terror victims and their families. This afternoon, Kirkpatrick voted against the measure.

Last week, Kirpatrick defended her support for Obama’s nuclear deal, claiming that the framework wouldn’t give Iran a ‘pass’ for its rogue behavior:

No approach to Iran is without risk, and the deal isn’t perfect…This agreement does not mean Iran gets a pass for its terrible behavior.

But when Kirkpatrick had the opportunity to hold the Iranian regime accountable, she gave a free pass to state sponsors of terror and sent a clear message to voters that she will stand with Obama at all costs. That’s just not the kind of leadership Arizona families deserve.
