Then Arizona ratepayers were slammed with a 17.5% price increase for their health plans.
Then 60,000 Arizonans lost their insurance after an Obamcare co-op failed.
Now 45,000 more Arizonans will lose their coverage after United Healthcare announced it would no longer offer plans on the Arizona exchange thanks to Obamacare.
And Blue Cross Blue Shield, another major insurer, said it could follow United’s lead because Obamacare issue made it ‘not sustainable’ to continue offering plans in Arizona.
Remember that Kirkpatrick promise that Obamacare “will preserve existing coverage?”
Well, the running tally of Arizonans who have lost their health insurance thanks to Kirkpatrick’s signature vote has now topped six figures, with more likely to follow. And those who were actually able to keep their coverage are paying more for it.
