The Hill reported some troubling news last night. Bill Nelson is “losing his voice,” making it impossible for him to further comment on the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
Curiously, this sudden ailment comes directly after a new poll shows a majority of Floridians want Judge Kavanaugh confirmed and while Bill Nelson has been twisting himself into knots over the nomination.
Nelson first declared he expected to oppose whoever was nominated before anyone was even named and then turned tail on that.
With such a serious decision to make, we hope Bill Nelson finds his voice…or just gets a cough drop.
“We hope Bill Nelson finds his voice (or a cough drop) so he can let Floridians know whether or not he’ll support Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination, or whether he plans to stand with his party bosses to obstruct an eminently qualified nominee once again,” said NRSC Spokesperson Camille Gallo.
