In 2016, the majority of Arizona voters elected Donald Trump to serve as President of the United States. Before they head back to the ballot box again this November, they deserve to know where Mark Kelly stands on today’s vote to acquit the President.

 

“For months, Mark Kelly has remained silent on the impeachment process, refusing to tell Arizonans where he stands on removing the President they elected from office,” said NRSC spokesperson Joanna Rodriguez. “Democrats have undergone unprecedented efforts to undo the results of the last presidential election in Arizona, and Kelly can no longer ignore calls for him to stand up to the extreme partisans in his Party.”

 

NRSC surveys conducted in January in battleground states, including Arizona, show that 62% of voters agree that Congress should be focusing on top issues like health care costs, trade deals, and keeping the economy on track instead of trying to remove Donald Trump from office. Read more here.
