Washington, D.C. – Inflation isn’t going anywhere, and everyone seems to know it except Senate Democrats. They continue to turn to what they know best – spending, spending and more spending – and refuse to address the skyrocketing prices impacting families across the country.
Let’s look at what the Democrats’ failed economic policies have caused:
- Gasoline, on average, costs 49.6% more than it did last year.
- Food prices have also climbed 6.3% higher over the year,
- Car and truck prices are up 37.3%.
- Shelter costs jumped 0.4% for the month and 4.1% year-over-year, the fastest pace since February 2007. – Fox Business
Instead of facing the crisis head on, Democrats are pointing blame at anything and anyone else. Let’s not forget White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain’s absurd commentary that inflation is a “high class” problem…
Despite the data, Democrats are determined to push their reckless spending spree, including a tax cut for the rich in blue states like Chuck Schumer’s New York and Nancy Pelosi’s California. The only Democrat that seems to have taken the hint is Bernie Sanders, who recently said “…the Democratic party has turned its back on the working class.”
He’s right.
Will vulnerable Senate Democrats Maggie Hassan, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Raphael Warnock, and Michael Bennet ever start fighting for the working class they claim to support? Or will they continue to fight for a liberal agenda that will bankrupt our country and hurt America’s hard working middle-class?
