Washington, D.C. – Last July, Democrat Governor Jared Polis lifted Colorado’s mask mandate.  As of last month, Colorado no longer mandates masks at schools.  Even Washington, D.C. has lifted their mask mandate.

Hard-working men and women have been going to work for over a year now across Colorado, regardless of the onerous restrictions forced on them by their elected governments.

Yet, in March of 2022, it appears Michael Bennet’s Washington, D.C. office is empty – thanks to reporting done by the Washington Free Beacon.  No Colorado resident can walk into a Senate office building and meet with a member of Bennet’s staff.  The presumed reason is still COVID.

This is strange because not only is the Russell Senate Office Building open for business, but most Senate offices are fully staffed, including Democrat offices, ready to serve their constituents. But not Michael Bennet…

Statement from NRSC Spokesman T.W. Arrighi: “Hard-working Coloradans have gone to work day in and day out to provide for their families, but if they want to meet with their senior Senator in Washington face-to-face to discuss their concerns, they are out of luck.  Michael Bennet’s record in the Senate has been abysmal at best, but refusing to staff an office presumably citing the long-overdone excuse of COVID is unconscionable to most Colorado voters.  Get to work and serve your constituents in person.”
