Yesterday, Nelson’s confusing claim that Russia has already penetrated some Florida voting registration systems was delivered a massive blow.

The Department of Homeland Security and the FBI both said they have not, “seen new or ongoing compromises of state or local election infrastructure in Florida,” completely contradicting Nelson’s claim (…despite his office’s pathetic attempt to say it doesn’t).

While Nelson still hasn’t explained his puzzling behavior, bad headlines have been piling up for him in Florida and nationally.
