Tammy Baldwin found time to blast out fundraising emails during yesterday’s hearing to raise money off her opposition to Judge Kavanaugh, but still hasn’t found the time to actually do her job and meet face-to-face with President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.

Senator Baldwin first refused to meet with Judge Kavanaugh and announced she’d be voting “no” on President Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court less than 48 hours after his name was revealed, but then back tracked yesterday after she was challenged by her opponent, Leah Vukmir, and announced she’d be reaching out to the White House to schedule a meeting after all.

Her newfound open-mindedness was pretty short-lived though, because minutes later, Baldwin’s fundraising email attacked Kavanaugh and promised to fight his confirmation “tooth and nail.”

The entire ordeal shows Tammy’s little flip flop had nothing to do with giving the esteemed judge the fair consideration he deserves but was rather a pathetic attempt to get political cover in an election year after she got called out for her partisan nonsense.

“Tammy Baldwin is proving that she’d rather play partisan games than actually do the job Wisconsin voters elected her to do,” said NRSC Spokesman Calvin Moore. “Wisconsin families expect their leaders to meet one another and seek common ground, but Baldwin would rather resist and obstruct at all costs to appease her liberal party bosses in Washington.”
